I scheduled cleaning service for 5 rooms which comprised of 3 bathrooms 1 bedroom and the kitchen. While I was given a quote of $240-270 I was charged $325. The crew informed me that it may take longer then 2:30 hrs to finish (after they had already worked about 1hr) I asked to not go past the time agreed. I had an appointment therefore has to leave them with my daughter. I came back to find a bill of $325 that was charged, the floors looked worse then when they came to clean, before I left one of the crew focused more on arranging my daughters play area that is in a corner of her room. The bathrooms (master bathroom excludes) are pretty small. I clean the 4 bathrooms in about an hour or so. They left not finishing the job. I called the business. While the man I spoke with was professional and offered a reclean which I accepted and appreciated he informed me that the cleaning manager would contact me which she did. However made excuses and stated that a reclean would not be possible bcs she was told that the crew informed her that they had a lot to pick up which is inaccurate (one of the kids did have toys in her play corner) however the team of 3 could have better organized and tackled the bathrooms first which would have enabled them to complete the cleaning. While she stated that she would call back as of this date she had not. They did not fulfill what I was offered as a re clean. I would have appreciated to just have the floor swept and mopped as should have been done. Extremely disappointed and will never use their service again.
My husband and I both have medical issues which is why we hired the maids, because it's just gotten to difficult to maintain our home. In the very beginning they were AMAZING.... now, NOT SO MUCH! I have found that I have to CONSTANTLY go behind the team like children making sure they do everything they are supposed to do & I'm not happy with that. I've voice my concerns to 2 supervisors and 1 had to come out and do a room because they NEVER TOUCHED IT!! I'VE GIVEN THEM CHANCES FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS....... BUT NO MORE!!! I'm BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!! So this will be my LAST service with the maids! I'm paying to much money every month to bave to go behind them. The previous company did a MUCH BETTER JOB and though their prices were higher and least I was COMPLETELY SATISFIED......I guess it's true, you really do get what you pay for!
I called and spoke to nice guy on the phone to discuss estimates on having my rental property cleaned before I put it on the market. I described the property and service I wanted to be completed and he quoted me a price of $265 - $305 (2BR/2BA, 1100 sqft). The property is empty and in great shape, I just wanted all the dust cleaned and freshened up for a new tenant. I was told I had to provide a CC# prior to service, and I did. My service was scheduled to take place between 12:30 & 2:30 four days later - and I was fine with that, but requested that I be given a call when they were on their way, so I could drive over and unlock the door (less than 1/4 mile away; basically across the street). At 3:21 day of the appointment (an hour late), I missed two phone calls from an unknown number (no voicemail) and 3:26 I missed three phone calls from an unknown number. The next time I looked at my phone and noticed all the missed calls was 3:29. I called back the most recent number and was told that no one was able to reach me (3 min. later). I apologized and was told the cleaners would be routed to the house. After I hung up the phone, I received a voicemail notification and when I listened to the recording it was the same guy I had just spoken with - the voicemail was "....I am sorry we couldn't come by to clean today we were unable to reach you by phone or text and we tried numerous times please call me as soon as you can to reschedule this service thank you". *Keep in mind that all of this has taken place within 8 minutes* After hearing this voicemail, I just couldn't take it...I called back and cancelled the service! It is completely absurd for a company to be an hour late for an appointment, then try to blame the customer for missing a phone call. For Pete's sake! Give me a moment to call you back! Three minutes was apparently way too long for them, but it's acceptable for them to be over an hour late. Now I wait to see if they are going to charge me a cancellation fee. Do not use this company. They are more expensive than their competition, cannot adhere to a schedule, and are managed poorly.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. My husband and I booked a moving cleaning. The Maids gave us an estimate of $215-$260 based on the size of our house and our needs. We were told we would be called if the price would need to be increased if more time is required for our approval. On the day of our cleaning, they told us they would be there in the afternoon but came early in the morning, so we had to rush and figure out someone to come let them in the house. On their arrival, they wrote $216 on our receipt before cleaning. MUCH to our surprise when we get home, the $216 was scratched out and we had been charged more than double the estimate at $480. As we walked around and inspected the house, we saw much to be desired ESPECIALLY for that price. We have two closets that look like the door wasn’t even opened, floors totally unvacuumed. Our light fixture above the dining table had a thick layer of dust. Along with MANY other details that were missed. Overall, the house looked better than before, however, for the price I expect more. We called the company to discuss this high charge and were basically told that this was the price and it was correct and that he would send someone back if we wanted but did not offer any further itemized descriptions of what justices these charges. I would not recommend this service to any of my friends or family.
I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my first time to use The Maids. The team that came to my house was awesome. They did an excellent cleaning, efficient, timely and pleasant. Will definitely book The Maids again.
