It was a overall pleasant experience. However the receptionist was clueless. She said my insurance was invalid. I had to tell her to put in the right group number for my insurance. She said that it didn't make any difference. After she put in the right number my insurance went through. She also told the people after me that their insurance was invalid, as well. Ya'll should train these people. After I got back to get my labs done and see the nurse practitioner everything went smoothly.
I usually don't give bad reviews but if you're sick, don't go here. Maybe they have other services that are better? The wait was terrible and no one was in front of me. The paperwork you do indicates there might be someone interested enough to discuss this with you at some point??? Don't count on that. In fact, don't count on a discussion about much at all. Extremely disappointed.
I’m upset that MEA wasn’t open at the time. All I need is a flu swab and possibly oseltamivir for my kid. I’m not understanding why I’ve been sitting for 2 hrs waiting for that. I’m a RN. Do you all need help? Would you like me to triage the patients in the waiting area? My goodness. There’s no way this “urgent care” is this slow. It’s evident that the NP is super frustrated with the patient load. I understand there’s a nursing shortage nationwide but this is just senseless to me. I’m assuming swabs take 30 minutes to result based on the flow of traffic. Insane.
Don’t let these other bad reviews fool you. They must have gone to the wrong one, because this place was very warm welcoming. Quick assessment and the nurse practitioner was great. 10/10 recommend.
ZERO STARS WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. MED MALPRACTICE SUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. The only reviews that aren't 1 star are paid reviews. That should tell you something. Besides the disgusting bathroom and urine samples lying around, their equipment is busted and support staff is unprofessional and untrained. They don't even have a way to file a complaint about the facility other than to "call this lady". The NP prescribed me a very expensive medication that wasn't even what I needed then refused to alter it to a brand name so my insurance would cover it. Did I mention she wanted to XR my kidneys? Yea I have an inner ear infection. Your drops don't work SINCE ITS IN MY INNER EAR. Went to Baptist next day and got the actual meds I needed, a zpack and a steroid. Left a vm for "this lady" since that's the only way to file a complaint. I bet you she don't even call me back. $150 later after co-pays and an unnecessary prescription. Save your money this place is a joke. Oh. And forgot to mention that they straight up forgot to send in my script to the pharmacy. It took me 3 hours of trying to get them to send it to find out my insurance wouldn't cover it. I guess that was when the NP got tired of dealing with me and said she's not filling it in a form my insurance would cover.
