I have been with this clinic for 20 years of my life. Over the past 5 years, the wait time to see the actual Doctor has taken on average 2 hours of wait time. While I appreciate quality of care, I would like to see some changes. We are working women with families and multiple balls in the air. This is not a dig at the Doctors, but rather looking to Practice Operations to make a better experience.
Upon entering the facility and staff was friendly and nice; however, I did not like my doctor at all. I went to her on recommendation from other people. I was told she was open and friendly, but she was anything but. She was very abrasive and didn’t attempt to talk to me. The people who referred me insisted I call and speak to her to get her side of my terrible experience. When I called her she pretty much put the situation on me as though I was the problem. This is not the place to go to for your first time, if you have questions, or want a “personal” relationship with your doctor. The whole experience is like Lamb to the slaughter.
Shout out to the best phlebotomist I've had in a long time. I usually accept having a sore AC for multiple days but I have almost no bruising and no pain. My overall experience was great. I was apprehensive because I had to switch due to insurance issues but it was great.
Update: Now I know why Kathryn Mallette was insistent on delivery through c-section without looking at the medical records. It’s for her convenience. It can be scheduled, so no working nights or weekends; baby can be delivered much quicker than natural birth; and she can bill more because c-section is a surgery. 37% of babies delivered by c-section end up in NICU. It’s a surgery that puts mother and baby at risk!!! If a doctor tells you it’s the only option, get a second opinion. It depends on the doctor you’re seeing. As with most clinics, some doctors are better than others. We’ve been with this facility for two months. The doctor never got our medical records from a previous physician. During a visit, she did not remember when the baby is due, did not know the weight of the baby because she didn’t look at the chart prior to talking to us, and on both visits we waited for two hours despite having appointments. If you’re not satisfied or comfortable with the care provided, don’t be afraid to find a new doctor. It should be all about you. Not what’s convenient for them.
Absolute best care I have ever gotten from any medical facility! I changed in the middle of my first pregnancy, and my doctor, Dr. Cook, knew more about me prior to every laying eyes on me than my previous doctor ever did, even though I did mild fertility treatments through my previous doctor. He is so kind and patient, and his nurse is fantastic! I always feel at home in the office. We are excited to be back and pregnant with baby 2, thanks to Dr. Cook being incredibly proactive about our needs. We love all of people here! We happily drive an hour and a half to get to this office!!
