Beware if you are taking any personal training sessions. It goes on month to month billing automatically (after the initial contract period) unless you cancel it with 30 day notice. When I wanted to cancel the training sessions, I wrote a mail to the manager asking for cancellation and also asking him to do anything that I need to do. 11 days and no response. When I checked my next credit card statement I see a charge for the 4th month (I took a 3 month session). I called the manager and his response was "I only sell and there ends my responsibility; you need to check with your personal trainer". Utter unprofessional behavior and do not have basic work ethic to respond to his work mail. I hope if you are one signing off for a personal training session, you be aware of these things. I don't know whom to blame? The greed of Corporate America where they squeeze "subscription" based auto renewals or the customer service offered by the staff? Whatever the case may be, there is a big dent on my credit card bill. I had to request a cancellation using the app (this again is a hidden gem that favors the auto renewal model) and personally go to the location and explain the staff and asked them to act on it. Now I need to see if they have done their job this time around. Bottom line, if you are about to sign a personal training session with a trainer make sure that you get your contract and be aware of the auto renewal model. It is cleverly designed to mislead the customers.
It has potential but you pay for what you get.. day time is professional and feels like a gym.. night time is full of employees flirting with girls and sitting on the counters up front.. to keep my trash in the waste baskets I’ve had to push them down with my shoe several times and throw away other people’s trash sitting on the equipment I’m trying to work out on..it gets better then slowly starts to fall off so I do my best to work out earlier
I was charged for months after I called to cancel my membership at the location I signed up at. When I noticed the charges continuing on my account, I called to try and get it straighted out. It was then I was told that you can't cancel your membership over the phone. I had to send an email. So I was charged for several months for a gym membership I didn't know I still had and they will not reimburse me even though they can see the membership wasn't used. They actually did this for 2 accounts, mine and my husband's.
For its size, this gym has given way too many memberships. During peak hours (mornings till 9 am and evenings often upto 8 pm), this gym is too packed to get a good work out in, in a time efficient manner. Good things about the gym: it is kept pretty clean and has most of the basic equipment.
It is good. Just confirm with initial amount. I just joined permonth $10 and processing fee and one time maintenance fee.
